After offering up his Skeletons covers collection late last year, Danzig can now be seen giving Fred Armisen tips on how to cover your buns in a pair of très chic board shorts as part of a sketch from the current season of Portlandia.
Part of the long-teased sketch has surfaced online via Portlandia's Twitter account. The clip finds Danzig suggesting to a fully gothed-out Armisen, longing to be included in a game of beach football, that it might be time to introduce some neon threads into his summer wardrobe.
"Are you familiar with Billabong?" he asks, tugging at a fluorescent green tee before pulling some oversized shorts out of his fashion-geared tickle trunk. "Kind of fratty," he admits, "but they pop!"
Following some choice product placement for well-respected surf brah fashion lines Hurley and Quicksilver, the metal legend gives up the following piece of advice: "Sometimes to have a good time you have to dress a little lame."
