Today marks the release of Chris Cornell's career-spanning box set, and one of its songs has now got a new video starring the late artist's very own son.

The clip is for the previously unreleased song "When Bad Does Good," which stars Cornell's son Christoper Cornell Jr. As you'll witness, the video features Cornell Jr. playing a younger version of his father as a paper boy in Seattle.

"For me this video represents my dad and all the art he created throughout his life and what his music meant then and what it means now, not just to me and my family but the city of Seattle and all of his fans," Cornell Jr. said in a statement.

The video's director Kevin Kerslake added: "I wanted to highlight an aspect of Chris' talents often overshadowed by his more obvious virtues (e.g., his monstrous guitar chops, operatic vocal range or commanding physical presence), which is his place as one of this generation's greatest lyricists….but do it within a specific context that turned a simple, straightforward journey through the streets of Seattle into a eulogy, of sorts, with mystical undertones."

You can watch the video for "When Bad Does Good" below, where you'll also find the complete stream of the newly released box set.

As previously reported, the box set spans Cornell's solo career and work with Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave. It also includes nearly a dozen previously unreleased tracks, including "When Bad Does Good."
