Watch Chris Bosh Play Guitar Onstage with Buddy Guy

Though health issues have put a hold on the career of NBA vet Chris Bosh this season, the Miami Heat player is making the most of his time off the court by getting back to music — most notably by taking the stage alongside Buddy Guy this past weekend.

Bosh joined the blues legend onstage in Chicago on Sunday night (January 8) at Buddy Guy's Legends blues club. Saddling up to the 80-year-old with a blue and white polkadot axe in hand, Bosh busted out a few bluesy licks to the crowd's delight.

Bosh's former Miami teammate Dwayne Wade, who now plays for the Chicago Bulls, was in attendance with actress and wife Gabrielle Union. They shot some video of Bosh's stage time, which you can see in the players below.

Bosh missed most of the 2015 NBA season due to a blood clot in his lungs. He failed to pass a physical with the Miami Heat this past September due to further complications and is unlikely to resume playing with the team.
