Morrissey performed in his hometown of Manchester on Saturday night (August 20), and now footage from the show has surfaced online that hears a fan hurling the C-word in the singer's direction, all in what's being seen as sign of the Moz disrespecting the late David Bowie.
At one point during the show, Morrissey paused to reflect on the "year of the reaper," paying homage to a number of famous figures that passed away this year. He mentions comedian Victoria Wood, actress Caroline Aherne, Muhammad Ali and Prince, claiming they left the world "too soon, too soon, too soon."
Well, soon after that, some audience members interpreted the lack of Bowie's name on the list as a slight against the late icon. As one fan shouts, "Bowie?" another jumps in with a "You cunt!" directed at the Mozfather.
