Washed Out Details 'Paracosm' Album, Expands North American Tour

On August 13, chillwave freedom fighter Washed Out (a.k.a. Ernest Greene) will release his new album Paracosm via Sub Pop. Now, he's shared more details from the record.

The above image marks Paracosm's album cover, complete with a vintage-looking painting of some colourful flowers. It's not the most high-concept artwork, but at least its not a stock photo.

The album is said to feature 50 different instruments on top of the usual barrage of samples. It was produced with Ben Allen, who has previously worked with the likes of Animal Collective and Deerhunter.

Check out a video for new song "It All Feels Right," which was directed by Ferry Gouw, below. There are also some expanded North American tour dates that add Canadian stops in Victoria and Vancouver to the previously announced shows in Toronto and Montreal.
