While Warped Tour held the "final" edition of its travelling festival earlier this year, the event is coming back in 2019. Despite all that "last-ever" branding, founder Kevin Lyman has confirmed the Warped Tour will be back in 2019 to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

On Twitter, Lyman made the announced today, writing, "Plans are coming together for @VansWarpedTour 25th — only thing I can say for now since many need to hold vacations dates are June 8 Cleveland, June 29-30 eastcoast, July 20-21 westcoast." Right now, though, that's all we have to go on for Warped Tour 2019, though more details will no doubt emerge soon. So while the lineup is unclear, it's also up in the air as to whether more cities and dates will be added.

Of course, Lyman previously teased the fact that Warped Tour would be back in 2019 to celebrate its 25th anniversary, despite calling the 2018 event its "final" edition. At the time, he just stated that the 2018 edition would be the "final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour," while he fully left open the tour for some sort of Warped activity to take place in 2019.

And now we're beginning to see what that will entail.
