Warped Tour Reveals First Round of Acts for 2011 Fest
As previously reported, the organizers of the vaguely punk-oriented Vans Warped Tour have revealed the full itinerary for their 2011 travelling revue, complete with Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal. Now, they have announced the first batch of artists on the trek.

Ready? Okay, here it goes: the announced bands for the Warped Tour's 2011 edition are Go Radio, We Are the Romans, Dance Gavin Dance, Every Avenue and the Word Alive. If you're like us, your first reaction to that list was, "Wait, who?" But allow us to explain: it's essentially a gathering of the metal/screamo/punk/radio rock bands with high-priced haircuts and hi-res MySpace pages that make your web browser crash.

Naturally, this is only the first announcement for a large lineup, so the chances of early Warped artists like the Vandals or NOFX making an appearance is still a large possibility. We at least need Fat Mike there, for no reason other than his amazing quotes in our Warped video coverage.
