It's not like minimalist L.A. art rockers Warpaint haven't played Canada before. In fact, just last fall the troupe hooked up with similarly bedroom-minded popsters the XX for some gigs in Toronto and Montreal. What's exciting about the group's recently announced tour schedule, however, is that this will be the first time the outfit will grace Canadian stages since the release of their debut disc The Fool.
Warpaint will begin a month-long headlining trek across North America in March. The tour includes stops in Vancouver (March 19), Toronto (March 26) and Montreal (March 27). After that wraps up, the ensemble will make their way to Europe, where they will be busy until May.
