Los Angeles post-punk outfit Warpaint are set to return with Heads Up, but before the full LP lands on September 23 via Rough Trade, the band have unveiled another album cut.
Following up the self-explaining "New Song," "Whiteout" arrives as a gently hypnotizing swirl of bass grooves, hazy vocals and intricate percussion.
As previously reported, the new record hears the results of the bandmates recording separately and in pairs rather than in a full, cohesive unit, all pulled together with help from producer Jacob Bercovici.
