This afternoon (November 14), Maybach Music Group member Wale announced he would be following up his Ambition LP with a holiday-launched mixtape called Folarin, which officially drops December 24. While there's still a month and a half to go before Wale delivers his early Christmas present in full, he's let loose a taste of what's to come via new track "Freedom of Speech."
The song has Wale spitting hard atop a late '70s funk groove full of string swells and wah-wah guitar, and finds his politically minded verses backed up by snippets of U.S. President Barack Obama's uplifting post-election speech.
