Now that Waka Flocka Flame's wrapped up his Canadian tour, you might be wondering what's up next for the Atlanta rapper. If a recent interview can be believed, apparently it's an EDM/hip-hop crossover LP featuring the likes of Diplo and Skrillex.

Speaking with Hip Hop DX, Waka confirmed that he's already hard at work at an EDM-flavoured album and noted that the move isn't too far off from work he's done in the past.

"The king of rap EDM is me," he said. "I've been there. Punk rap, that's EDM. People didn't understand what I was saying, now they do. I see a lot of my students, I'm like the principal, I'm here to talk.

When asked more about the album, Waka said, "It's already in the motion. Flosstradamus, Diplo, Skrillex. Some underground people, too. I want to create a name. I've been doing it in hip-hop so long."

Neither an album title nor an estimated due date has been let loose for the project. Waka, however, reconfirmed in the interview that his Flockaveli 2 LP drops October 5, so we assume his EDM adventure arrives sometime after that.

The rapper also said he has two mixtapes set to drop "any day," including Duflocka Rant: The Halftime Show.
