3 Way Split

The 3 Way Split between VYGR, At Our Heels and Griever plays out like your average story arc, but the music contained within is anything but. The slow-building, sludgy post-metal of VYGR provides an appropriate introduction as the action rises. At Our Heels' driving, blackened hardcore is an exciting climax, both in terms of speed and energy, before Griever ease the throttle back. Falling somewhere between the frantic energy of At Our Heels and the slow burn of VYGR, the band's Torche-esque, epic and melodic sludgy hardcore closes the split perfectly. While not diving to the droning depths treaded by VYGR, the denouement eases you back in with a slight respite, now energized and thoroughly refreshed. However, given the short length (three songs per band) and quality of the music contained within, why wouldn't you press play again?
