In support of their latest album, Servant of the Mind, Copenhagen's heavy metal-rockabilly provocateurs Volbeat have announced a summer North American tour. It will see the band return to Canada for the first time since 2019, with scheduled dates in eight Canadian cities.
"We are so excited to finally see our friends in Canada again and also get to play shows for some of our friends in the US that we haven't had a chance to see since Servant of the Mind was released," the band said in a statement. "The incomparable Halestorm will be joining us for most of the shows, too. We hope to see you at the party!"
The shows kick off at Toronto's Echo Beach on July 12, with subsequent stops at Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre on July 17, Saskatoon's Sasktel Centre on July 18, Edmonton's Rogers Place on July 19, Calgary's Grey Eagle Event Centre on July 20 and the Abbotsford Centre on July 22.
Then, they'll detour into the US before returning to Canada for two Quebec dates: August 1 at Quebec City's Videotron Centre and Montreal's Bell Place on August 2. The dates wrap up shortly thereafter on August 6 in Grantville, PA.
Tickets go on sale next Friday (April 21) at 10 a.m. local. Presales are currently in progress.
