Vision Quest formed less than a year ago, but have already established themselves after winning a Battle of the Bands competition this winter and performing at several festivals since. The hip-hop duo normally consists of Nick Johnson and Yudii Mercredi, along with their DJ, MK Ultra. Tonight though, Johnson was without his partner as Mercredi was recovering from a recent accident. In an endearing reversal of audience and performer roles, Johnson had fans sing "Get well Yudi" as he shot a video of the crowd on his phone.

Johnson held the attention of a small group of dedicated fans, but couldn't quite captivate the entire tent with his rapping, which lacked rhythm and didn't quite suit the accompanying beats. The exception was a song about living in the North that was full of references ("living at 40 below") that resounded with Yukon residents. In the end, the set was more of a thrill for Johnson than anyone else. "I can't believe I just played," he gushed.
