Vince Staples on R. Kelly: "He's a Child Molester, He Pees On People"

"I'm a good person, R. Kelly is a piece of shit"

Last year, R. Kelly was alleged to have been holding women captive in an abusive "cult," detailed in an explosive Buzzfeed exposé from Jim DeRogatis. The singer's camp denied the initial reports, as well as those of the woman who have come forward since.

Predictably, the Buzzfeed report swayed the opinion of some, while also not changing the minds of people who want to bust a move to the remix to "Ignition." Appearing firmly in the former camp, Vince Staples seems to have made his mind up.

Appearing for an interview with host Nadeska Alexis on a Coachella livestream, Staples called Kelly "a fucking child molester," as Alexis tried to change the subject, saying "we can't ever talk about this guy."

Staples pressed forward. "He's a child molester, he pees on people and he can't read or write and he didn't go to jail," the rapper said. "I'm a good person, R. Kelly is a piece of shit."

Staples' comments come on the heels of another accusation against Kelly reported by the Washington Post yesterday (April 15). The publication reports that R. Kelly faces allegations of sexual misconduct from a woman who says the singer infected her with a sexually transmitted disease during an eight-month relationship beginning when she was 19 years old.

The woman's complaint states that she "was the victim of several forms of criminal misconduct by Kelly, including, but not limited to, unlawful restraint, furnishing alcohol and illegal drugs to a minor, and aggravated assault (via the referenced intentional STD infection)." A representative for Kelly told the Washington Post that the singer "categorically denies all claims and allegations" related to the new complaint.
