Winnipeg indie rockers VIKINGS are set to unleash their new EP Animal Kingdom next week, but first, Exclaim! is giving you an exclusive first look at the band's new video for "Burning Man."
The clip follows a young couple on their awkward first date, which eventually explodes into a rather fun and unforgettable evening thanks to the guidance of some "misfit guardian angels" — played by none other than the members of VIKINGS.
"The concept behind the video of 'Burning Man' is essentially similar to the song's main theme of going out there and crossing into unfamiliar territory," the band tell Exclaim! "It's about going out of your comfort zone and the extraordinary events that can occur from that. This is a playful interpretation of this theme but undeniably relatable to anybody has 'gone for it' at some point or another.
"It's a fantasy world of colours and fireballs that makes the argument for the importance the little choices we make and the grand impact they can have on us."
You can watch the vibrant story unfold onscreen below.
Animal Kingdom is due out on March 10, and the band will play a hometown album release show at the Good Will that same night.
