Even as we try to stay on top of all the musical adventures, new initiatives are cropping up all over the place. The latest is Earthquake Shake, a garage punk extravaganza taking over Victoria, BC.
For the event's first year, Earthquake Shake has brought together an impressive roster of talent from BC and Alberta, as well as Oregon and Washington. Even casual fans of garage and punk will know there's a lot to be excited about with a line-up that includes Mean Jeans, the Tranzmitors, the Vicious Cycles,Vapid, B-Lines, Pure Country Gold, Thee Manipulators, the Throwaways, Blank-Its, Sex Church, Electric Kisses and Ape City.
The festival is taking place on June 11 and 12 at Logan's Pub in Victoria. Two-day passes can be purchased for $32, or single night can be purchased for $18.
