Vic Mensa has been arrested on gun charges, with the rapper spending the night in jail on a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon.
As TMZ reports, Mensa was pulled over by police in Beverly Hills over a traffic violation last week, with officers then discovering the gun. According to TMZ, Mensa allegedly told police that he had a gun and a concealed carry permit. However, the permit was not for California.
As a result Mensa was forced to spend the night in jail and was released on $35,000 USD bail.
As of press time, Mensa has yet to publicly address the incident.
