When most think of Omar Santana, hardcore comes to mind. This CD is great to hear because at a time when many people are saying that hardcore is dead or has changed too much, the man has to put this kick-ass mix out. Hardcore for the Head Strong is exactly what it says. This is true pounding, relentless hardcore at its best. This is a new disc, and has no "new skool" hardcore, which is a plus. While new style may be harder at times, its long gaps make it as exciting as watching lawn bowling. The hardcore featured on this disc is what some may call "rotterdamn" or just straight up hardcore. Also, the hardcore is influenced by rap, giving it an aggressive edge, deafening bass lines and evil melodies that are just perfect.
