Boasting a line-up of contributors that features Weezer, SenseField, the Promise Ring and Samiam playing Pixies songs, there's probably no way this could have been anything but amazing. And it is. Misunderstood in their day and still never really given the respect they deserve, the Pixies undeservedly wallowed in obscurity. Hopefully, this great 15-track collection, which for the most part features faithful recreations of the original songs, will go far in (re)introducing the music of the Pixies to the world that missed it first time around.
