Various Skamikaze!

Ska is not dead. It's thriving and growing in none other than Japan. This compilation covers all the bases in fine fashion. Lo-fi and ska-punk to more trad numbers, this disc has it all and its quite good. Thinking back to older ska comps from Japan, the scene over there has not only exploded with more and more bands playing ska but the quality has increased tenfold. They now know what they are doing and they are doing it very well indeed. A lot of the numbers feature some sweet rhythm changes that are quite the treat. The good tunes here are too numerous to mention but if you don't mind their accents, this is well worth picking up. (Label Noco)
