Various Point Break Volume 1

How the hell does an unknown label (that has a yin-yang in its logo) get tracks from such notables as Meshuggah, Soilwork, Converge, God Forbid and Shadows Fall for a compilation? Good question, and here's a couple more. Why does this compilation, featuring almost exclusively released tracks, exist? Why are American Nightmare called American Nothing on here? Try to not lose too much sleep over such existential dilemmas, because it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. All we're left with is another useless, albeit fascinating, compilation that only serves as a reminder that all the bands listed above are really, really good, and so are Zao, Living Sacrifice, Thrice, In Flames and Drowningman, all of whom are also on this 18-track head-shaker. As with all compilations, the same rule applies: just buy the damn full-lengths. A yin-yang! (Sidecho)
