Neburu

BY Marc RoyPublished Feb 1, 2001

One cannot always judge a movie by its soundtrack. However, if the soundtrack to the as yet unreleased film Neburu is any indication, the film promises to be an experimental trip about space travel, the apocalypse and the endless reaches of outer space. There is a lot of variety on the album, from the dark sample-happy Saucerman tracks "Fantastic" and "Wednesday (End of the World)" to the ethereal the Beginning of Lotus' "Ganymede" and "Delta Landing" to the raw psychedelia of Recluse DNA ("Waltz in Zero Gravity" and "Future Imperfect"), each artist brings to mind their own vision of the future, be it beautiful or bleak.
