Music Saves Lives

BY Ariana RockPublished Jun 1, 2006

The pairing of music and movement is something amazing — empowering those masses that listen to music to not only have a greater awareness of a problem that faces our society, but also provides a venue to affect change in their own way. Such is this compilation album that teams up the Red Cross with some of today’s indie loves and loves to come. The idea is this: you give blood at Vans Warped Tour or another of the organised areas, and you get a free copy of the CD. It’s as easy as that, and means that a massive shortage in the blood banks no longer goes so drastically diminished. Aside from being a great idea, the music is also going to beef up your collection with rare, unreleased or popular songs dominating the majority of the listings, and open your eyes to music you may not yet have heard. Give to get! It’s by far one of the noblest CD acquisitions you will ever have, as well as one of the most enjoyable.
