Go Kart vs. The Corporate Giant

BY Rob FerrazPublished Jun 1, 2003

The label sampler is one of those things that have become a staple in the punk world. And depending on how strong the roster is, samplers can work really well. New York’s Go Kart Records has been around for a few years now and their third comp features 73 minutes of all kinds of interesting material. There’s something for most musical palettes contained in these 30 tracks, from emo to hardcore to ska and punk. This has a mix of released and unreleased tunes by the likes of Anti-Flag, Toxic Narcotic, InDk, Icons of Filth and the Lunachicks among others. It has a certain hit and miss element to it but it still makes for a good listen. It also comes with a novelty 3D cover.
