This is a nine-band sampling of Too Damn Hype's ungodly roster. It has no shortage of the deathly boring tough hardcore that Too Damn Hype is known for, brought to us this time by bands like Deviate, Breakdown and Dare to Defy. We also get some funny rap/hardcore stuff like Son of Skam, old school NYHC, care of Discipline and Rykers, and the vaguely more interesting Bad Luck 13 Riot Extravaganza and Compression, their "Battle of the Ants" stealing the show here with a kind of Neurosis feel to it. Too Damn Hype continues to rub me the wrong way; the whole label just reeks of tough-guyness.
