Earlier this month, Exclaim! brought you the video premiere of Little Junior's "Pump" — a clip shot at the headquarters of Montreal collective Bad Lunch. The creative community came to fruition with the shared ambition of fostering local independent music, and now they're celebrating the last few months of providing the space to do just that by releasing a special musical compilation.
The fresh set of songs will be released both digitally through Bandcamp and as a limited run of cassettes. Proceeds will go to recouping the costs from the last year of operation, though the main goal for the group's organizers is to "share the music we've discovered to a broader audience."
The aforementioned Little Junior make an appearance on the compilation, alongside other acts like Bueller, Seri Oko, Merival, Scattered Clouds and Year of Glad.
