Vancouver concert promoters Snail Productions have revealed they will be celebrating their third anniversary this summer with a locally minded festival called SnailFest.

The event spreads itself across various Vancouver live spots between August 22 and 29, with the bills featuring a BC bands "playing everything from experimental rock to indie pop and hardcore."

Though the full lineup details have yet to be delivered, artists attached to SnailFest so far include Aquanaut, the Psychic Alliance, War Baby, Outside Dog and Mormon Crosses.

Snail Productions founder Kyle Haack describes SnailFest as "not only a celebration of my company doing business for three years, but a huge thank you to this city and…to music and art for saving my life."

An all-access pass will be up for sale via Vancouver-area shops for $20, while individual shows will apparently have covers prices bouncing between $5 and $15.

More info on the event, including artist appearances and the show schedule, will be revealed over here.
