Vancouver's SHOREfest Brings the Sheepdogs, 54-40, Odds to Fireworks Celebration
Every year, Vancouver holds a series of fireworks displays called the Celebration of Light, while SHOREfest hosts free outdoor music performances at the event. Now, the music lineup for the 2014 edition has now been announced.

There are three nights in total, each featuring four bands: July 26 will offer 54-40, Current Swell, Dear Rouge and Scarlett Jane; July 30 will bring the Sheepdogs, Spirit of the West, Hey Ocean! and Locarno; and August 30 will offer Odds, Jim Byrnes and the Sojourners, Jon and Roy, and the Matinée.

These bands will appear on one of two stages: the Bathhouse Roof at English Bay and the Rogue Stage at Sunset Beach Park. The music runs from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at which time the bands will stop to make way for the fireworks.

The music is presented by LG 104.3. The radio station used to be known as the Shore (hence SHOREfest's name), but it was recently rebranded with a "greatest hits" format emphasizing classic rock.
