Hot on the heels of the Music Waste announcement, another Vancouver festival has just outlined its 2012 lineup. The city's boundary-pushing New Forms Festival will be returning for its 12th instalment, and we've now got the details of exactly what will be going down between September 13 and 16.
As usual, the bill promises a host of musical performers from a variety of genres across the electronic music spectrum. This includes Actress, Dan Bell, Veronica Vasicka, Von Bingen, Kode9, Meek Odyssey, Pilooski, Sinjin Hawke, Larry James and Cloudface.
The festival will revolve around the theme of "living labs." In addition to music, the program will include workshops and artists working in various disciplines.
Much of this year's event will take place at the Masters of Digital Media building at the Centre for Digital Media, with outdoor shows and workshops held at the Waldorf Hotel and a Sunday showcase at New Brighton Park.
