Vancouver's New Forms Festival Adds Madlib

Vancouver's forward-thinking New Forms Festival has already announced a heap of performers for its 2014 edition, and now the lineup has got even more impressive with a new wave of artist announcements.

The biggest name to be added to the festival's poster is seasoned hip-hop vet Madlib, Other additions include visual artist Jesse Kanda (who has worked with FKA twigs), Clinker and Davachi/Smith.

There's also Nate Boyce, a visual artist who is being billed alongside previously announced performer Oneohtrix Point Never. Last year, they collaborated for the multimedia show R Plus 6 / Affect Index, so we're guessing this is along the same lines.

They join a cast of performers that already includes Adam Marshall (of Graze), Inga Copeland, Lnrdcroy, Sinoia Caves, and Young Braised & Soledad Munoz.

New Forms will run from September 18 to 21 at Science World. It will conclude with a free show on September 21 at the adjacent Creekside Park. Tickets are available here in a variety of options, with full festival passes costing $125.
