Vancouver's More Than Human Brings Out Sinoia Caves, the Passenger, Phil Western for Its "Winter Ritual"

Following a string of stand-out releases from the likes of Ekoplekz, Dieter Moebius and Time Attendant, budding Vancouver imprint More Than Human will be bringing its forward-thinking electronic vision to the stage via its "Winter Ritual."

Taking place at Vancouver's Fox Cabaret on November 6, the showcase will be headlined by Sinoia Caves (a.k.a. Black Mountain synth whiz Jeremy Schmidt), who just recently released the kick-ass soundtrack album Beyond the Black Rainbow. Other performers include local dreamweaver the Passenger and spaced-out sound explorer Phil Western (Download, PlatEAU, Kone).

The night will also include More Than Human DJs, plus a visual component courtesy of Jean Brazeau (Coastal Imaging, Magnetics). According to a radio promo announcement from More Than Human, this show is a way to "appease the dark gods of winter," and there's an "off-chance of a full pagan sacrifice." We like those odds!

Tickets cost $10 at the door, or $8 in advance at Red Cat Records.

You can also tune in to the More Than Human radio show on Vancouver station CiTR and catch up on the show here on iTunes.
