Vancouver's Mood Hut Collective Prep New Comp Release for Snaker
After recently announcing the collaborative Disco Mantras LP, Vancouver's Mood Hut collective have now revealed plans to issue another team project. Featuring new music prepped by Jack J and members of the Pender Street Steppers, Mood Hut's next release drops this April via Japanese imprint Snaker.

The collection includes 10 cuts, with material made by the collective's Liam Butler, Jack Jutson, Ian Wyatt, C.Z. Wang and more.

A track-for-track breakdown on the Snaker site explains that the record features plenty of half-tempo rhythms and synth arpeggio, while also colourfully describing the Wang-penned "Heaven 9" as a "boogie woogie tune for a field trip" and "recommended listening on the way to a cave you have never been [to] before."

Keeping that metal image in mind, you'll find the full tracklisting to the Snaker 007 collection and a sampler of the set down below.
