Vancouver's Mood Hut Collective Announce 'Disco Mantras' LP

BY Josiah HughesPublished Feb 2, 2016

Vancouver's Mood Hut label has been responsible for some of the best dance singles of the last five years. Now, it is finally stepping out with its first album-length release.

The album is called Disco Mantras, and it's described as a batch of "loose-ish collaborations straight from the swamps and isolated bus stops of the Lower Mainland."

It's unclear exactly who's involved with the release, as the label simply describes it as "new music by the crew for you, ready to soundtrack your nowever."

Either way, with a roster that includes the Pender Street Steppers, Jack J, House of Doors and Slow Riffs, there's no denying it's going to be a piping hot collection of tracks.

Disco Mantras doesn't have a release date just yet, but it does have an 11-minute sampler that you can stream in full below.

Disco Mantras:

1. Sunny Dae
2. Memories in Time
3. A Perfect Shift
4. Meteor Connection
5. Hymn to a Whale Talker
6. Bless the Weather
7. Paul's Blues
