Vancouver's Modified Ghost Fest Brings Out Dillinger Escape Plan, Cattle Decapitation, Job for a Cowboy

Vancouver metal and hardcore fans are about to have their ears blasted off by an arsenal of wicked international and local acts as part of the inaugural Modified Ghost Festival. The extreme bill for the April event includes heavies the Dillinger Escape Plan, Cattle Decapitation, Suffocation and more.

Organizers behind the fest revealed today (January 21) that a number of acts will be cranking it up across various Vancouver venues from April 7 to 10. This includes those artists mentioned above, as well as Job for a Cowboy, Misery Index, Toxic Holocaust, Intronaut, the Shrine, Scale the Summit, He Whose Ox Is Gored and more.

The fest has also revealed the first Canadian booking for former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo's Dead Cross project with members of Retox and the Locust.

On the local front, the lineup for Modified Ghost also features local crust crew Baptists and prog-tinged metal collective Anciients.

While the full breakdown for each day has yet to be revealed, Misery Index play the Biltmore Cabaret on April 7, Dillinger Escape Plan appear at the Vogue Theatre on April 8, Suffocation will be playing at the Rickshaw Theatre on April 9, Power Trip are part of the bill that same night over at the Astoria, and ABSU play the Astoria the following night.
