Published Jul 02, 2009With their demo tape now in its second pressing, the timing is right for Vancouver punks B-Lines to put out a legit release. Thankfully, Vancouver label Nominal Records has stepped in to release the band's debut seven-inch.
And in the case of B-Lines, when you play scrappy, poppy hardcore songs, seven inches of vinyl can house six tracks, including some stand-outs from their demo and new hits like "Social Retard" and "Crazy Glue".
Along with the seven-inch release, the band will be tearing it up down the West coast, where they'll be touring with like-minded L.A. dudes Le Face. In addition to a plethora of house shows, the band will also play in a boxing ring, and a few real venues as well.
You can catch B-Lines tonight (July 2) at Honey in Vancouver, where they'll be kicking off their tour in style. They'll also be playing a homecoming seven-inch release show on July 18 with the Famines at Vancouver's Astoria, and a show on Nobunny's upcoming Canadian tour at the city's Pat's Pub on July 28.
