While Vancouver music fans got their fair share of psych earlier this year via the Levitation festival, there's more mind-muddling sounds coming their way en masse. The lineup has just been revealed for the city's third annual Vancouver Psych Fest, with Cali three-piece L.A. Witch topping the marquee.
This year, the event takes place at Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club on October 8. The full-day event will feature a mix of local and international talent playing three different stages spread out between the traditional Fortune show space and their downstairs project space.
Other acts playing throughout the day include Arizona's Destruction Unit, local garage guys Dead Ghosts, Crosss, Hallow Moon, Astrakhan, Eric Campbell and the Dirt, the Archaics, Peregrine Falls, Dirty Spells, Mother Upduff, Jo Passed, the Wandering Halls, V.Vecker, and Dopey's Robe.
In addition to the music, artists Merlyn Chipman and Rob Scharein will be performing live visuals throughout the day.
Tickets are going for $15 at local businesses Neptoon Records, Bully's Studios and Studio Vostok, while it'll cost $20 if you pick your ticket up at the door.
