Vancouver Celebrates 125th Birthday with Free Festival Featuring New Pornographers, Neko Case, Dan Mangan
Are you excited about Vancouver's 125th birthday? No? Well, you're about to be. This July, the city will celebrates the milestone anniversary with three days of free shows at Brockton Point in Stanley Park. The event is simply titled Summer Live, and the most notable performers include the New Pornographers, Neko Case, Mother Mother and Dan Mangan.

The concerts run from July 8 to 10 and take place on two main concert stages. The city has recruited a impressive array of local talent to appear, and joining the acts listed above are Hannah Georgas, Said the Whale, the Zolas, the Be Good Tanyas, Hey Ocean!, We Are the City, Barney Bentall & the Legendary Hearts, Fond of Tigers, Aiden Knight, Veda Hille, Spirit of the West, Daniel Wesley and Kyprios.

Other attractions coming to Brockton Point include sports, activities and performances for children, and more.
