Vampire Weekend "Blurred Lines" (Robin Thicke cover)
Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" has both dominated the U.S. singles chart and stirred up controversy over its jokey, misogynistic tone. Hoping to capitalize on the former, tropical poppers Vampire Weekend have let loose their own take on the party cut.

The cover plays true to the original, with not much more appearing on the track besides the steady bass-poppin' bass line, some cowbell, Ezra Koenig's falsetto, and a crew harmonizing about knowing how a good girl wants to get nasty.

The redo was performed on BBC's Live Lounge , and you can stream it down below.
