Vader

Necropolis

Death metal legend and founding vocalist/guitarist of Poland's Vader, Piotr Wiwczarek has returned with a new album and a brand new line-up. Necropolis enlists impeccably talented guitarist Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka (Decapitated), drummer Pawel Jaroszewicz (Soul Snatcher, Rootwater) and bassist Tomasz "Reyash" Rejek (Supreme Lord, Christ Agony); they've joined forces to create one extreme Polish super-group under the Vader moniker, and a killer new album. Although Necropolis is Vader's eighth studio album, the new members have brought with them a distinct and refreshingly new sound. Right from the start, with opening track "Devilizer," things get kicked into high speed with blasting drum beats and head-spinning riffs and leads, all anchored by Wiwczarek's trademarked intense, deep vocals. "Dark Heart" is one of the release's best tracks, with evil growls and some of the most intricate guitar work ever heard on a Vader album. It's a definite sign of Vogg's influence, making the revamped Vader a powerful force.
