Usher Announces 'Looking for Myself' Album

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 30, 2012

While velvet-voiced ladies man Usher dropped his slow-banging, falsetto-heavy single "Climax" back in February, you're going to have to wait a few more months before the R&B singer delivers his next full-length affair. Titled Looking for Myself, the LP arrives June 12 through RCA Records.

A tracklisting for Usher's seventh full-length has yet to be revealed, but on top of the Diplo and Nico Muhly-assisted "Climax," the album is said to feature production work from Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Max Martin and Empire of the Sun, among others. Usher is reportedly still putting the finishing touches on the disc, but more info should surface soon.

Of the smooth and sexy "Climax," producer Diplo previously dished "im pretty sure in 9 months there are gonna be a lot of new babies that this song is responsible for." With that in mind, Usher-favouring baby mamas should be close to midterm by the time the album hits retailers.

Usher's last album was 2010's Raymond v. Raymond.
