Update: Sperm Donation Exceeds Free Festival Offer's Expectations
In an "urgent” update, the Sperm for Tickets project has stopped accepting applicants, stating they have been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response from would-be donors.

As we previously reported, the pilot project offered free tickets for any major European festival to anyone willing to get up, close and personal with a receptacle, reportedly to increase Ireland’s dwindling sperm reserves.

According to the post on Sperm for Tickets’ website: "The purpose of this website was to test market interest through a pilot scheme. Applications for donation packs have far exceeded the expectations. Our clients are calling a halt to the invitation to apply for packs, and will review the results of the scheme to decide on how to proceed.”

However, it also adds: "If the clinic decides to proceed with the mail system after examining the results of the pilot scheme, all people who applied for donation packs will be contacted.” By the looks of this carefully worded section of the statement, it seems unclear whether the "sample packs” will be sent out, enabling fans to get their Palmela on those free tickets.
