Published Apr 05, 2010Last month, we reported that Canadian legend Neil Young was plotting his first solo acoustic tour in over a decade. The folk rock icon has now expanded the "Twisted Road" tour with a handful of new dates, bringing the total count up to 14.
Young will be supported by the highly acclaimed Bert Jansch, who Young has often cited as an influence. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 1992, Young once said, "Bert Jansch is on the same level as Jimi Hendrix."
The shows promise to feature a smattering of new songs from Young, as well as the usual classic cuts. While we're excited that Young has expanded the tour, we can't help but notice that all of the dates currently booked are in the southeastern United States. Hopefully Canadian dates are still forthcoming.
