Published May 27, 2009Last week, Exclaim! reported news of a 15-year-old student shooting himself after demanding his teacher praise Marilyn Manson. At that point, the teen had not succumbed to his injuries. However, according to a Blabbermouth report, the teen from Lafourche, LA passed away in hospital late last week on May 23.
While this event was disturbing enough to begin with, after the teen's death, more unnerving information has been revealed. Authorities report having discovered possessions including the lyrics to Slayer tune "Raining Blood" accompanying a picture the youth drew of himself dressed in camouflage pants/shoes and an AC/DC Highway To Hell shirt. In the drawing, Doucet called himself "The LCO Gunman."
"The writings suggest a very troubled person who is dealing with some anger issues who has a fascination with the antichrist, the end of the world, Nazism, Marilyn Manson, those sorts of things," said Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre, inflating the issue somewhat. "And this desire to carry out a Columbine-like event."
