Following our initial report on Friday (March 14) about a new single from French electro heroes Justice, we now have a string of new details about the release. Via Facebook, the band confirmed the previously reported title of "Civilization" for the single, as well as its artwork (see above), announcing it will be out April 4 via Ed Banger /Because.
Apparently, this is the lead-off single from a new, as-yet-untitled album, with "Civilization" also serving as a soundtrack to a new Adidas video, directed by Romain Gavras (Justice's "Stress" and M.I.A.'s "Born Free" videos).
The Facebook post also provides us with this all-caps message:
THE BEATING OF A MILLION DRUMS
THE FIRE OF A MILLION GUNS
THE MOTHER OF A MILLIONS SONS
Despite the cryptic message, one thing seems for sure: Justice are coming back at us real soon. So get ready, guys.
Thanks to Pitchfork for the heads-up.
