As previously reported here, Against Me! drummer Warren Oakes has been fired from the popular punk group. We also previously reported he had a really good "drum face." He did. But his replacement looks like the guy who looks a lot like Perry from the Wanderers, which is just as good.
Perhaps even more notably, his replacement is the one and only George Rebelo of Hot Water Music and the Draft. Rebelo can lay down a mean groove, has some of the neatest drum fills around and looks awesome when he smokes. No word on if he'll be grinning ear to ear when he plays, but you can't win 'em all.
The band have not announced when Rebelo's live debut will be, but they have already found time to take a press photo featuring the new line-up (see above).
