Published Apr 23, 2012Portland's Unknown Mortal Orchestra have been promoting the lo-fi pop tunes from their eponymous debut LP for the better part of a year now, and the trio will keep at it a little while longer for a new round of North American tour dates.
The band get back in action in May with a few shows, including a May 23 stop at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom supporting Best Coast and a stop at Washington's Sasquatch Festival, but the popsters will be the top draw for a seven-date trip in June. Those dates bring the band out to Montreal and Toronto, and will also have gauzy Canuck Doldrums acting as the opener.
