Published Jun 14, 2014Following another big news week, here's your chance to make sense of it all with our news roundup.
First up, it was a pretty massive week for Canadian indie rock. Not only did we get new album announcements from Death From Above 1979 and New Pornographers, but the Unicorns reunited, effectively ending a lot of will they, or won't they speculation.
In other news, Spoon finally shed all the details of their anticipated Want My Soul, Death Grips remained as unpredictable as ever by dropping a surprise album, Weezer named their new album Everything Will Be Alright in the End and Ryan Adams emerged with a new single.
Oh, and then Morrissey cancelled yet another U.S. tour — something the Moz camp squarely blamed on the opener.
Finally, we also got some sad news this week, as jazz legend and Twin Peaks star Jimmy Scott died at the age of 88.
