Ungdomskulen Employ 'Secrecy' on New Album

Norwegian prog rock crew Ungdomskulen have led a long and storied career, changing their band name more than once and releasing a handful of well-received records since the early 2000s. Now, they're set to return with a brand new long-player.

The release is called Secrecy, but that doesn't mean we don't have any details to share with you. The album was recorded in the band's own studio, which the members built themselves.

Musically, a press release explains that the album "blends the experimental flare of the avant-garde genre with fundamental punk, rock and dance sensibilities."

Thankfully, we don't have to take their publicist's word for it, as lead single "Askefast" now has a music video, which can be streamed below. The song is said to be inspired by the 2010 volcanic eruption that grounded all European flights.

Secrecy will be available on September 25.
