UK Shoegazers Chapterhouse Reuniting for North American Tour

Shoegaze fans, rejoice: another group of fallen heroes have been resurrected to bring their hazy dream pop on tour. We're talking about long-inactive British quintet Chapterhouse, who have announced that they're working on tour dates in Japan and North America.

Since calling it quits in 1994, the band have occasionally reunited here and there, most recently for a pair of London shows in November. This time, however, they've said that the reunion will include a full-fledged tour that includes stops all over the world.

A member of the band sent an email to XLR8R, who reported that almost all of the band's original line-up will be intact. The only member missing is bassist Russell Barrett, who will be replaced by Greg Moore.

The dates have not yet been announced, but the band did say that they'll be playing in Japan in April and North America in May. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they'll make some Canadian stops while visiting our continent.
